For Influencer Collin C-Storm, Public Recognition will ‘Never Not Be Cool’

Whether or not anybody can be a content creator is a subject of much debate. Sure, it seems like every new kid on the block has the tenacity to become a viral sensation overnight, but is it right to undervalue their creative labor? For content creators on Instagram and TikTok, we have to give credit where it is due – they’ve learned everything about it from scratch.

Content creators’ unprecedented growth should not stop any time soon, and that is what Collin C-Storm believes. Growing up in Knoxville, he loved watching various forms of content online and was thoroughly fascinated by how each of the talented creators touched their audience’s hearts with what they gave to them.

He began his journey down that road with his parents’ blessings. He initially started out on Youtube. For the first five years, his content received little to no recognition. This is something that could demotivate anyone hoping to start out in that space, especially when they put their heart and soul into their content.

However, it was TikTok that later became his redeeming platform. He learnt the appropriate video editing skills and, with his existing knowledge, began to work some of his magic there. He created some piano-playing videos and tutorials and managed to draw in a great amount of traffic on his channel.

From there, he began to follow trends and kept growing – with a fair share of hiccups along the way. When one of his videos managed to get almost 300k views, he had a taste of what internet fame felt like. For a middle schooler, it was akin to being on cloud nine, and an elated Collin thought it couldn’t get any better than this. Little did he know this was just the beginning.

Continuing to hone his content creation skills along the way, he soon hit his first milestone of a million views, which felt surreal to him. For Collin, public recognition will ‘never not be cool.’ Like other content creators, he wants to inspire people to try out the stuff he does for themselves.

Being a marketing major, it’s a no-brainer how he eventually managed to get 2.8 million followers on TikTok and a total of 1 billion views across all his social media channels. From what it all tells us, it’s only going to get bigger for Collin and we can’t wait to see it happen.
